Programme in French

The Bachelor is a management programme available partly in French. The level of English is the first criterion for the recruitment of young graduates in the luxury hotel industry. As part of this programme, students will also earn a professional certificate in Hotel Management from eCornell, a unique credential valued by major international luxury hotels.

Bachelor in English

This Bachelor's degree is exceptional and unique as it is jointly delivered with a UK University in a French hotel school in Paris. As part of this programme, students will also earn a professional certificate in Hotel Management from eCornell, a unique credential valued by major international luxury hotels.

The Top-up Bachelor is a 1-year (3 semesters) programme with a focus on the management of operations in luxury hospitality.

Professional diploma by EHL

Ecole hôtelière de Lausanne and the Luxury Hotelschool Paris join forces to offer a professional diploma in Paris, leading to a level-5 diploma delivered by EHL. Holders of the diploma can progress to the top-up Bachelor.

  • Duration: 3 years plus one semester online
  • Admission requirements: A-level or high school diploma, or any other bac equivalent, CEFRL C1 in French

  • 1st year's content: first-level EHL certificate and luxury experience (codes of luxury, a night at the Palace, organisation of the gala and field trip in Paris)
  • 2nd year's content: EHL professional diploma (supervision of front-office and housekeeping operations, hotel etiquette and protocol, hotel accounting and budgeting, law, rooms sales and marketing, people training and development, purchasing, rooms administration and the art of butler service, hotel & restaurant concept foundation, hotel trends and innovation) plus the luxury experience (lectures mostly in French)
  • 3rd year's content: negociation and sales, serious game, event management, quality management, project management, business strategy, international communication, luxury code seminars, and a one-week field trip in Champagne (optionnal 30% in French) plus 3 online modules (Leadership and management, managing cultural issues and a management research report)
