Isaure May, Master's student at the Luxury Hotelschool Paris
It was in order to hold managerial positions in the luxury hotel industry and to express his leadership that Isaure May continued his studies at the Luxury Hotelschool to the University Master's degree. “I have always had a real affection for hospitality, customer relationship, service excellence and event organization,” she explains. “And after graduating from my Bachelor's degree, it was important to extend my Master's degree at the Luxury Hotelschool to deepen my knowledge, especially in terms of leadership.”
During his first experiences at 5-star establishments, at Sofitel in Brussels (catering and events), at the Sentido Mikri Poli Atlantica in Crete (reception) and at the Shangri-La in Paris (housekeeper), Isaure was able to develop skills in management, control of operations, communication and team management, with a critical view and constantly maintaining the sense of detail and rigor inherent in high-end hospitality.
This year's Master's degree, Isaure particularly appreciates the interventions of Hotel Directors and Palaces (Christophe Laure — InterContinental Paris le Grand; Romain Meiran — La Réserve Paris; Jean-Louis Souman — Le Bristol): “Our exchanges with these leaders in the luxury hospitality industry allow us to better understand the different types of leadership — including transformational leadership — to adapt to situations, inspire, motivate and help them evolve positively.”
Those who work alongside Isaure in school and in the field, in hotels, say she is creative, persevering, engaging, persuasive and gathering. In the coming weeks, after obtaining her Master's degree, she wants to gain more experience by joining a commercial department in the hospitality industry.
